In March 2017, the Step Above Stigma team at Queen’s University sold green socks (the colour representative of mental health) to raise money for mental health organizations across Canada.
With St. Patrick’s Day being a big celebration across Canada, our goal was to get individuals to wear the socks to open conversation, challenge the stigma of mental health and show some spirit.
